Roberta Chiarella
Q: What inspires you to design?
A:
I simply adore sparkle! I have been in love with crystals since I was a little girl I would collect sequins, beads and crystals in a little box I kept in my room-my own treasure chest.
A: they are made by hand here in the USA with heart and soul.they are beautiful and intricate. Q: If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
A: Beyonce'-because she loves, loves, loves big wild earrings. I had the privilege of working with Destiny's Child for a few years. They were so free and open to everything. Q: Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
A: Double Happiness Jewelry by Stephanie Wells. When I do not wear my own designs I always wear Stepahanie's work. Q: What bag do you lust for this season?
A: Anything Bottega Venetta-I have collected them forever. Such incredible quality and simplicity. Q: What charitable cause is most important to you?
A: STEP UP, which is a great charity for woman. i just did a jewelry making workshop with them-the girls do such a great job. Q: What did you do before you became a designer?
A: I was and still am a graphic designer. It stays with you forever and is a great companion to jewelry design. It is so fantastic being your own Art Director. With my graphic design background, I draw, photograph, layout type- do just about anything. Q: What is your secret indulgence (fashion or otherwise)?
A: Yoga
